As a reminder, the Lancaster County School district attendance policy:
- Allows for 10 absences per school year that can be a mix of excuses (medical note, parent note).
- Once a student has had 10 absences, a medical note is required for any future absence to be excused.
- Once a student passes 10 absences or 5 tardies/early dismissals, recovery time is required and it is usually held at the end of each semester.
- Truancy does come into effect with any 3 unexcused absences in a row, 5 overall and unexcused absences after 10. Always excuse your student if they are absent.

- Complete the Attendance Form Click Here. You can attach any medical notes from a doctor’s office or clinic.
