PTO President: Ryan Coots
I am a stay-at-home mom of two boys, ages 7 & 5. My family and I relocated here from Cincinnati six years ago and absolutely love it. I have a technical in Optometric Assisting and Ophthalmic Dispensing. I am currently one semester away from obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Northern Kentucky University.
My family and I enjoy trips to the beach or mountains, being outdoors and having family time. I absolutely enjoy watching my children grow and learn and spending time with them.
I served as PTO Vice President last year and have enjoyed being involved and volunteering with the school. I love seeing the impact this organization has on the students. The last two years I have been fortunate enough to be a Room Parent and I really enjoy it. I am excited to be participating in PTO and having the opportunity to help with the successes of the school and especially the students. I look forward to helping in any way I can!

Kristen Clements
My name is Kristen Clements and I am a former educator turned stay-at-home mom. My husband and I moved from Charlotte to Indian Land in 2016 and have two children. Our daughter is 9 and will be in the 3rd grade at Harrisburg this fall. I We love to travel and especially enjoy going out west to the mountains in Colorado. In my free time I like to read, exercise, and refinish/refurbish old furniture.
I served as a room parent last year and enjoyed being able to volunteer at the school. I am looking forward to serving on the PTO this year. I worked in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for 15 years in a variety of positions but decided to stay home with my kids while they are still young. I miss being in a school and can’t wait to be involved at Harrisburg.

My name is Kristin Marshaleck and I am very excited to serve as PTO Secretary at Harrisburg. My husband and I have been married 10 years and we have three kids - two boys attending Harrisburg (Kindergarten and 2nd grade) and a 4-year-old daughter who is anxious to join her big brothers in the fall of 2024. I am a CPA and work part-time from home for Ernst & Young. I am thankful that my job allows me flexibility to become more involved. Looking forward to meeting many of you this year and giving back to our wonderful school community!
PTO Treasurer: Rebecca Hudson
My name is Rebecca Hudson and I am honored to be your PTO Treasurer. My husband, Matt, and I have been married for (almost) 10 years. We met in the DC area, lived briefly in Northwest Arkansas and have called Indian Land home for the last 9 years. I am Mom to Hannah (Grade 3) and Violet (Grade 2), whose personalities are about as different as their hair color!
I graduated from Virginia Tech with dual degrees in Finance and Accounting (Go Hokies!!). While I currently work as an Income Tax Supervisor for Compass Group, I also proudly maintain the positions of Chef, Chauffeur, Head of Housekeeping and Therapist. I am looking forward to another great year with HES!
Room Parent Coordinator: Nikki Nelson
Hi, my name is Nikki Nelson and my family moved to South Carolina from Illinois in 2020. My husband and I have two boys Joel and Samuel who attend Harrisburg. As a family we love exploring, camping, and all things sports. In my free time, I love all things DIY and crafty. I have been a room parent for my kids classes every year since my oldest son was in Kindergarten. Last year I had the privilege of being the Room Parent Coordinator for Harrisburg and enjoyed volunteering at many of the events at school. I am excited to be the Room Parent Coordinator again and look forward to the new school year!
Hospitality Coordinator: Joann Solnar
I’m originally from Mexico, New York (near Syracuse) but have lived in the Carolina’s for close to 25 years. I have two children, Ben, age 10, that just started at Indian Land Intermediate and Brooklyn, age 8, in third grade. I have worked in the aviation industry for the last 25 years. Currently, in Customer Service Training. In my free time I love to travel.
Dine-Out Coordinator: Kimberly MANZO
My name is Kim Manzo and I am excited to join the Harrisburg PTO team! I am originally from Ohio (Go Bucks!) but have lived in the Charlotte area for 10 years. My husband Dominic and I have two kids - Elliott, who is 5 and will be starting Kindergarten this year, and Bennett, who is 3 years old. I graduated from The Ohio State University, and now work full time for General Mills as a sales account manager on Harris Teeter. In whatever free time we have, we love to travel, try new restaurants and breweries around the area, and enjoy time by the water (lake and ocean!) with family and friends. I can't wait for the new year and all the fun ahead!
Newsletter/Spirit Rock Coordinator: Valerie Rogers
My name is Valerie Rogers and I will be the newsletter/spirit rock coordinator for the PTO this school year. I have been married to my husband, Jon, for 14 years. I have 3 children. Avery is 13 and going into 8th grade. Miles is 9 and going into 4th grade here at Harrisburg. Grant is 5 and will be in TK this year. We have lived in Indian Land for 4.5 years. Previously, I worked as a sonographer in ultrasound. I am now a stay at home mom and run a part time engraving business from home. I am looking forward to being a part of the PTO again this year and supporting our parents, teachers and students in any way that I can!

My son, Lucas, has now moved up to the intermediate middle school, but my daughter Anna is in 3rd grade at HES. Looking forward to seeing this space serve Harrisburg teachers as students this year!!
Membership/Volunteer Coordinator: Millie Fong
My name is Millie Fong and this is my second year as Membership/Volunteer Coordinator. I have previously been the Newsletter Coordinator for HES and was the ILIS PTO Secretary for 2 years as well. I have also been Room Parent for the last 5 years and have gotten to know our school and love everything about Harrisburg and the PTO. I have been married to my husband for 16 years and we have 2 daughters, Noah-Grace in 7th Grade and Allison in 3rd Grade. We moved here from Miami, FL 7 years ago and have been an HES Family ever since. Our family loves movies, restaurants, traveling and especially cruising. I graduated with a Bachelors in Finance and work from home as a Lead Reporting Analyst for an Insurance Company based in Miami. I can’t wait to get this new year started!

My name is Sheila Maupin and I am a stay home mom with a fourth grader at HES and a sophomore at Indian Land High School. I was born and raised in Mexico and moved to the States after graduating college. I lived in California for 17 years before making the move to South Carolina 4 years ago. I love reading, cooking and hiking at Anne Springs. I was HES PTO President for the last 3 years and although my youngest only has a year left of elementary, I couldn’t stay away from volunteering. This will be my 11th year being involved in a parent teacher organization. I am looking forward to being part of this year’s team. A wonderful group of ladies that share my passion about providing extracurricular opportunities for my boy and all students.

Christina Ramadhan, a native New Yorker, relocated to Indian Land five years ago with her family. Christina has four daughters, three of whom are currently attending Harrisburg Elementary School. Christina has been involved in the school community for two years now, volunteering as the Lost & Found Coordinator. When she's not tidying up the school's lost treasures, she embraces the mompreneur lifestyle, running her own businesses from home.
