How did your staff celebrate Mardi Gras...ours celebrated by beading up early this morning and fiercely competing with their friends for more....Rock, Paper, Scissors was the name...maximum bead collection was the game! Erin Cundiff reigned supreme with 63 necklaces...Lombardi has nothing on her trophy...so if your kids are talking about their silly teachers tonight...they might just be right!

Students in 3rd and 4th grades submitted drawings for our district banner project. This is an annual program sponsored in part by our Lancaster County Council for the Arts, local steel artist Bob Doster and The Lancaster County School District. 5 of our students had work selected, then recreated in black marker on a 6 foot banner. Students went on the field trip Friday to paint the drawn banners. These banners will be hung from the light posts that line main street in down town lancaster, beginning in March. They will hang there for 9 months. Make sure you go check them out!!
